The Foundry Gallery is a Gallery and Contemporary Art space in the heart of Chelsea, London established in 2010 by Jonathan Goode and Jason Slocombe of Le Lay Architects. The Foundry Gallery is dedicated to working with emerging Artists and forging collaborative responses between Art and Architecture with an overriding commitment to making their creative vision happen exhibiting a wide range of wo

rk informed by contemporary artistic practice, across multi-disciplines: from the traditional to the experimental. In collaboration with the Artist, The Foundry Gallery support the development of new work where the integrity of their core ideas are protected, acting as a catalyst, giving the Artist the freedom to explore their existing and new ideas. This enables them to produce exciting work, giving them the opportunity to examine their own practice and move their career forward. Their exhibition program also consists of shows by more established Artists, Galleries and Curators who share the philosophies of The Foundry Gallery. The Foundry Gallery hope to provide the chance for Artists to exhibit and sell their work within a supportive and encouraging environment within the heart of London's Chelsea. The gallery is directed by Elizabeth Goode who is a member of the Association of Women Art Dealers and is proudly supported by Le Lay Architects.

This week at at the wonderful Tin Lizzy had a stash of expired medium format film from my own collection. Take a risk try analogue and enjoy colour shifts and image distortion. I also have vintage viewfinders and some lovely 35mm colour slides from someone’s 1970s trip to Norway !

These haunting words are very true. Where I am a school governor I see families who have taken the long arduous route to the UK leaving behind places we can’t even begin to imagine with their children. No one takes this journey lightly but it is safer than what they have left behind. I am in awe of these families at the school gate.
Artwork by who thanks for their words.

Installed on May 1st in solidarity with 🔥 ‘Interruption 427’, paint, plastic on video screen, 60 x 34 inches, Astor Place subway station.

As a creative times are hard so I have developed a few micro businesses which allow me to be creative, earn me a small income whilst fitting in with our SEND children who need plenty of support after masking all day at school.

TIN LIZZY for the last 2 years has been one of my micro businesses. I specialise in a curated collection of vintage tins, maps, stationery, photography and ephemera. alongside original artworks.
