Since 2001, we have collaborated with young, mid-career and established artists. Circle Culture Gallery is a platform on which international artistic world views are shared, and aesthetically and intellectually developed. At our showrooms in Hamburg and Berlin, the Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome in Berlin as well as at our temporary artist residence in Baden-Baden/ Kauffenheim, we provide the opportunity to experience our artist program first hand.

A voice between tech and art.

Julia first found her way to Circle Culture through our longtime artist André Saraiva. After passing the gallery windows on Gipsstraße almost every day, she recently stepped inside to experience the gallery from a new perspective.

Alongside her career in tech, her residency has become a practice of observation and exchange, creating space for art, expression and new ideas.

In her first contribution, Julia reflects on the people, places and small objects that brought her here, and on making everyday life feel a little more circular and a little less like a straight line.

You can find her full reflections on the News Page of our website.

What happens between exhibitions? A look behind the scenes at one of our recent transports between Berlin and Hamburg. From creating the shipping list and selecting the works to carefully preparing each piece for its next destination.

The final stop was THE EMBASSIES in Hamburg, where a selection by Spanish abstract painter Enrich.R has found a new setting.

This also marks the beginning of our next chapter together: later this year, Circle Culture will present Enrich. R in Hamburg for the first time. More details will follow soon.

A look into more than two decades of Circle Culture Gallery.

Since 2001, we have presented international contemporary art through exhibitions, art fairs, temporary spaces and collaborations in Berlin, Hamburg and beyond.

At the heart of our work is an ongoing dialogue with artists and the belief that art can open new perspectives and help us understand times and signs of change.

Provenance is more than documentation. It is the story that connects an artwork to its origin, its journey and its significance over time.

In our latest News article, we explore why provenance matters and how a documented history contributes to the understanding and appreciation of an artwork. With this in mind, we are pleased to present two significant artistic positions through exceptional works from a private collection, each accompanied by traceable provenance and supporting documentation.

15 years of Salon der Gegenwart

We‘re delighted to see works by Marco Reichert and Oskar Rink on View for the current edition of Salon der Gegenwart in Potsdam.

Our connection to Salon der Gegenwart goes back many years from Christian Awe, Shannon Finley and Katein Fridriks in 2011, to Oskar Rink in 2015, Adrian Falkner in 2017, Stefan Strumbel in 2018 and Marco Reichert in 2022.

Now in 2026, works by Marco Reichert and Oskar Rink come together as part of the Holle family‘s permanent collection.

Some landscapes are not just meant to be seen, but felt.

In its quiet melancholy, this piece invites us to pause, reflect, and lose ourselves in the space between sea, sky and memory.

A poetic reflection on the eternal dialogue between sun and moon, presence and absence, ending and beginning.
