Aperto Raum
Located at Sophienstraße 21 in Berlin’s Mitte district (Germany), Aperto Raum is a non-profit exhibition space, a public laboratory, a library and an archive. It is an off-site work-in-progress space for producing Aperto paper, which focuses on research in 20th and 21st century contemporary culture. Aperto Raum is a platform and bridge for dialogues between East (St Petersburg, Russia) and West (Berlin), and exploring processes and methods.
The topics explored in Aperto Raum take shape in exhibitions, performances, screenings, and conceptual brunches.
