Three weeks ago, a major leak from the unit above our studios caused a flood that left our building with some serious damage. The cleanup and restoration work is substantial, and we have been forced to stay closed until it is safe to reopen.
We understand that this closure has a significant impact on the 200+ artists in our collective who come here each week to maintain their artistic practice, express themselves creatively, and connect socially. Although weโve continued to stay connected by offering virtual sessions for artists 5 days a week, we are eagerly looking forward to welcoming artists back for in-person sessions as soon as it is safe to do so.

The restoration teams have been incredible, working around the clock so that we can return to regular programming as soon as possible. If all goes according to plan, we will be able to reopen on ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ ๐ญ๐๐!
It has been very difficult to see our beloved building torn apart, but our team of staff and volunteers are working hard to clean and organize during this rare break from in-person programming, and we will be back on our feet soon.

A note about in-kind donations: We are pausing our intake of art supplies for the moment as storage is limited during construction. However, there are a few functional items we would be grateful for, as long as they are clean and in new or excellent used condition:
- Storage bins with flat lids
- Square folding tables (3 x 3 feet)
- Step-stools
