The Telephone Historical Centre is an accredited Telecommunications Museum dedicated to the preservation of the history of telecommunications in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, from 1885 until the sale of the city-owned telephone system in 1995. Originally located in Old Strathcona, the Telephone Historical Centre re-located to the Prince of Wales Armouries Heritage Centre in 2004. In addition to a col

lection of telecommunications equipment and artefacts, the Telephone Historical Centre offers hands-on exhibits and a first-class multi-media presentation theatre show featuring Xeldon, the talking robot. The Centre is open to the public year round and offers self-guided or conducted tours from individuals to groups of all ages.
