How do patterns and repetition carry knowledge across generations? What Shapes Us explores Indigenous abstraction as an evolving visual language—where layered textiles, delicate beadwork, carved surfaces, and copper details reveal deep relationships between shape, space, and story. Rather than searching for a single meaning, observe how repeated gestures transform raw materials into living memory.

Featuring works by Wally Dion, Bob Boyer, Renee Condo, Tamara Lee-Anne Cardinal, Brian Jungen, Dean Drever, Susan Point, and more. Curated by Alaynee Goodwill-Littlechild, TD Curator of Indigenous Creativity.

On view now through March 28, 2027. Learn more: /https://www.youraga.ca/whats-on/current-exhibitions/what-shapes-us
