We are transforming the main hall of the AGA into an ambient, illuminated landscape designed for deep listening and wonder. Before you head back out into the real world, come experience this exclusive, primordial magic.

Alchemy in the Atrium is a live, multi-sensory audio-visual performance and immersive sound bath featuring healing frequencies, moving projections, and ethereal lighting. Masterfully crafted by Edmonton visual-sound artist Gary James Joynes, featuring ethereal lighting design by Roy Jackson.

The AGA is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Finance and Administration team.

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Accounting Administrator (6-month term, with possibility of renewal). Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role is critical to supporting full-cycle payroll, accounts payable, and day-to-day financial operations that keep our gallery thriving.

Led by Executive Director and Chief Curator Catherine Crowston, this tour dives into a major retrospective spanning over 60 years of the Alberta artist's sharp, satirical, and humorous works.

Our latest exhibition, Wallflower, curated by Lindsey Sharman, steps inside the intimate, private spaces that wallpaper envelops. Featuring contemporary and historic works from artists like Dorothy Knowles, Zachari Logan, and William Notman, this exhibition explores how repeating patterns shift from the commonplace into protagonists of our domestic lives.

Funded by the Poole Centre of Design, Wallflower challenges you to look closer at the invisible design surrounding us.
