What does your Pride story look like?

It might be something small. A piece of clothing, a keepsake, a photo, or an object tied to a moment that mattered.

This Pride Month, we’re inviting Albertans to help us document q***r history by donating items that speak to lived experience.

Curious if your item fits? Let's talk: https://royalalbertamuseum.ca/q***r-history-call-for-donations

Our popular Sustainable Societies board game has won not one, but two awards!

We’re pleased to share that the game received a Bronze in the Non-Personal Interpretation category from Interpretation Canada, recognized for its approach to cultural and environmental learning. Sustainable Societies also earned design recognition through the RGD In-House Design Awards.

Designed for students in Grades 3 to 5, the game uses collaborative play and resource management to explore how human decisions affect the environment. It was developed through classroom testing, grounded in Alberta content, and encourages players to use critical thinking, discussion, and hands-on learning.

School groups can try out Sustainable Societies as part of our RAM-Guided field trips! Visit our website to learn more.
