Before Deep Purple's show at the Scotiabank Saddledome last night, frontman Ian Gillan Official Site was reunited with the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio (RSM), the very studio where the band’s 1972 album Machine Head and “Smoke on the Water” were recorded.

Known as the "Sistine Chapel of rock 'n' roll," the RSM has been part of countless legendary recordings. Now part of the National Music Centre's collection, parked next to the King Eddy stage, the RSM continues to record new music and make history.
