☀️Queensland, here we come! ☀

Later this afternoon we hit the road up to the Sunshine State for the biggest championship drag racing event held outside of the US: the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway.

After our very productive Nitro Champs, we have given The Missile a freshen up and are ready and rearing to go, with our eye on capturing as many championship points as we possibly can.

Something that will be a little different about this weekend compared to the other NDRC events we contest is that Willowbank Raceway employs the elimination racing format for the Winternats, instead of the all-run format.

This means that first, you must qualify for the eight-car field on Saturday, and then come Sunday's race day, if you lose a race, you are on the trailer – no second chances. So, with another competitive Top Doorslammer field lining up, the intensity is going to be sky high right from the get-go. But don't worry, we are ready for the challenge 💪

🔥Gulf Western Oil Nitro Champs, here we come!🔥

We are locked and loaded and hit the road later today to Sydney Dragway – just a quick three hour drive up the road 🥰

Friday will include some exciting media activities for us alongside our fellow Top Doorslammer Australia competitors, before we get into qualifying on Saturday (following the All Doorslammer Fire Up in 'Slammer Alley') and then racing on Sunday.

The weather is looking great and it is another big entry list, including 17 Top Doorslammers, so if you are a fan of drag racing we reckon you should get out to Sydney Dragway this weekend and join in the fun 😎
