What makes a venue unforgettable?

Maybe it’s the fact that it’s been standing since 1683. Maybe it’s the name (yes, it’s really called the Museum of Dogs). Maybe it’s walking into a piece of Cape Town history that most people don’t even know exists.

Your event deserves more than four walls. Book a space with centuries of stories.

Candlelight Harp at the Museum of Dogs.

Join us on 17 March at 19:00 for a magical 30-minute candlelit harp recital by Kobie du Plessis at the Museum of Dogs.

Set among the museum’s quirky galleries, this intimate performance blends music, atmosphere, and candlelight for a truly special evening.

Your ticket includes entry to the museum, which will open from 18:00, giving you time to wander through the space before the concert begins.

South African harpist Kobie du Plessis performs internationally as both a soloist and chamber musician, with concerts across Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, South Africa, and Brazil.

CREATIVE SPACE AVAILABLE INSIDE THE MUSEUM OF DOGS (20–30m²)

We have two unused spaces at the Museum of Dogs that we’re looking to sub-let (subject to landlord approval, and making sure we’re a good fit for each other).

One is a kitchen space, ideal for a baker or similar food business. The other is a more conventional room.

Both are approximately 20–30m².

We’re thinking florist, baker, tailor, ceramicist, artist studio, but we’re open to ideas.

If you’re a local business that has outgrown the garage but aren’t quite ready to commit to a full commercial lease, this could be a good in-between step.

Email [email protected] or DM us on Instagram for photos and more details.
