Where Earth Meets Spirit — Welcoming Jesse Butterfield to Gallery of Modern Masters!
We are thrilled to welcome contemporary mixed-media artist Jesse Butterfield to the Gallery of Modern Masters family!
Deeply rooted in meditation, mindfulness, and a profound connection with the natural world, Jesse's extraordinary abstract works are as much a spiritual journey as they are a visual experience.
His paintings are wonderfully thick, richly textured, and almost sculptural, created through layers of Venetian plaster made with marble, luminous gold leaf, acrylic glazes, and flowing resin pours. The contrast between earthy, rugged surfaces and glossy, reflective elements creates a beautiful conversation between the physical and the ethereal.
Born in San Francisco, Jesse has spent time immersed in the landscapes of Sedona, Santa Fe, and Northern California. His connection to these sacred places is reflected in his work, where geological formations, ancient sediments, and the mysteries of consciousness come together.
Each piece is an invitation to slow down, look deeper, and reconnect with ourselves and the land. His paintings feel like portals, offering glimpses into the space where nature, meditation, and spirit meet.
We couldn't be more excited to share Jesse's remarkable work with our collectors. These are paintings you truly need to experience in person to appreciate their incredible depth, texture, and energy.
Please join us in welcoming Jesse Butterfield to the gallery, and come discover his beautiful new works!
