Where Light Opens...a little preview of my fine art; portraits and landscapes of the southwest, created around a single notion: that light opens doorways.
I'm drawn to Thresholds- the moment where change becomes possible after years of effort. Today- right now. The breath before something shifts.
I paint to capture those moments in color and form, to encourage us to keep going towards the newness on the other side.

A pencil study for a new painting. They call it a study for a good reason! It helps you observe all the shapes and planes before you even think of color. But wait… I’m always thinking of color💜😉🧡🩵-Pamela bigvisionarts.com

It’s a stunning day at the gallery today. Magic and light dance through this room. The air is full of movement, the sun is ripe, the fruit is on the table. So is the barbecue. Enjoy! -Pamela bigvisionarts.com
