Today was splendid. I spent the afternoon with photographer prepping for a large-scale (7.5’ x 20.5’) commission. We’ve decided to use copper, aka atomic weight number 29, aka star of song, Copper, aka my favorite element for the background of the wall treatment. Pictures to come when complete!

Sure, most of what we do is art and printing related. However we did get opportunities to dip into other worlds. Viz: our friend Daisy and Joe who just started the delicious and vital restaurant (who got a Michelin recommendation yesterday—less than 8 months in). Anyway, Daisy stopped by to our back yard to get some flowers for the restaurant. With some assistance from our younger, we got the job done.

Another anniversary, same war. The Ukrainians are still in the midst of a brutal winter. Russia continues to strike without regard to innocent life. Four years ago, Oleksii Kyrychenko took this photo of his daughter on the eve of war. Hoping this is the last year I have to post this. Sales from photos go DIRECTLY to children’s aid in Ukraine. DM for details. We still have framed and unframed prints availble. .k._img

First full day of Atrium Fair. Featured today is Dave Eggers, longtime gallery artist, writer, thinking-things-up guy, source of some pretty good ideas. Speaking of which: 100% of artist proceeds from the sale of his work are going directly to , a project headed up by Dave, with the invaluable support of .marie.xo .mccalman and so many more. Some much-needed good news in a time of distressing art school closures. Thank you, heroes!

Atrium, the newest fair to join the SF Art Week activities is now open! One of the artists we’re showing is Adam Feibelman. An obsessive with the x-acto, a visual DJ with paper, and an all-around excellent human being, Adam has brought an astonishing array of work for this fair. You’ve got to see it up close and in person, so these are just for enticing you to show up. So show up! We’re here until Sunday!
