We are the new SMUD MOSAC!
(602)

Our mission is to serve as a dynamic regional hub that engages and inspires people of all ages to explore the wonders, possibilities and responsibilities of science.

Have you seen any astronauts exploring MOSAC lately? Next
time you visit, keep your eyes peeled! Your mission, if you choose to accept
it: Find all 12 hidden astronauts! Look up, look down, look all around! Check
in with a staff member if you find them all, or if you need some help!
Our Exhibits and Program Delivery teams put their
out-of-this-world creative minds together to design and 3D print these
astronauts, each with their own pose and accessories.

We broke ground on something exciting today!
MOSAC officially celebrated the groundbreaking of Wonder Works, a new space dedicated to curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning.
From maker programs and workshops to educator training and community partnerships, Wonder Works will help us inspire even more explorers, creators, and innovators throughout the Sacramento region.
A huge thank you to our supporters, partners, elected leaders, staff, volunteers, and community members who joined us to celebrate this milestone. The future is looking bright, and we can’t wait to build it together.
