Visit us at Archives Crawl this weekend!

Ever wonder about how Route 66 is showcased in archival collections?

​This weekend, we will be part of Archives Crawl, a free citywide event that invites the public to see artifacts and explore the treasure troves of information that are held in Sacramento archives!

​This year's Crawl will take place on Oct. 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

​CAM will have a table at the Center for Sacramento History, 551 Sequoia Pacific Boulevard, Sacramento, CA, 95811.

​This event does not take place at the museum. This event is free for attendees. We can't wait to see everyone!

Our annual Haunted House has expanded days this year!

While Oct. 24 will be the big day of our Trunk or Treat including a treat trail, hearse display, activities, and more (that day only from 10 to 2, see our posts for more information), the haunted house will be open for the morbidly curious from Oct. 22 through 25!

It will be included with paid museum admission, and will be open from 10 to 5 during the museum's opening hours. Don't miss out on the spooky fun! The haunted house is recommended for those ages 7 and up.

Something spooky this way drives...

Our Trunk or Treat event on October 24 just keeps getting bigger and better! In addition to the treat trail inside the museum, the haunted house, hearse display, and local organizations giving out treats, we will also have a fire engine outside, along with the Graveyard Mafia hearse club adding to the hearse display!

We hope to see you at this annual tradition of an event. The event is free with paid museum admission, which is at a discounted rate of $6 per person for everyone ages 6 and older. Do not buy museum admission tickets online for this event; discounted tickets are available day-of at our front desk. See you on Oct. 24 from 10 to 2 at the museum - bring your candy buckets and wear your costume!
