KATIE CERCONE BRINGS “PINK LOTUS” TO THE UNTITLED SPACE’S “IN FULL BLOOM” EXHIBITION + EXTENDED DATES 🌸

Artist and poet Katie Cercone, aka Or Nah, transformed The Untitled Space with her immersive performance “Pink Lotus,” a shakti-infused yoga dance flow centered around the lotus mudra and themes of divine feminine energy, spiritual awakening, embodiment, and transformation.

Presented within “In Full Bloom,” the performance created a living dialogue between contemporary art and embodiment, inviting guests into an experience that was at once visceral, spiritual, and transformative.

The evening welcomed artists, collectors, and members of New York’s creative community, including gallery founder, artist , Frederick Anderson , Akeem Duncan of , Tony Jones, Ulla Reiss, Alex Skora of , and many others.

Following strong audience response, “In Full Bloom” has been extended through June 12, 2026.

This large-scale watercolor painting by captures a vibrant symphony of peonies in full bloom. Soft pastel petals blend seamlessly with vivid crimson and rose hues, creating a dynamic contrast that draws the viewer into the heart of the composition. The delicate textures and luminous layering of watercolor give the flowers a sense of movement, as if stirred by a gentle breeze. Set against a dreamy sky-like background, the blossoms appear both powerful and ethereal, celebrating the beauty and fragility of nature on an impressive, immersive scale.

Alonsa Guevara is a Chilean-American multidisciplinary artist whose practice centers on oil painting and extends into sculpture, installation, and sound, with recent expansions into children’s literature and illustration. Her work explores the relationship between humanity and nature, often blurring the boundaries between fantasy and reality. Having lived across Chile, Ecuador, and the United States, Guevara’s practice engages themes of identity, belonging, and womanhood through a deeply personal lens. She holds an MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Her work has been exhibited internationally across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East, and has been featured in publications including Forbes, Time Out New York, VICE, and The National News UAE.

Guevara’s work reflects an ongoing dialogue between the natural world and the human experience, using botanical imagery as a framework to explore perception, transformation, and interconnectedness. Her paintings construct spaces where organic forms become carriers of emotional and symbolic meaning, situating the work between observation and imagination. Through this approach, she examines how identity and environment are intertwined, positioning nature as both subject and metaphor within a broader exploration of cultural and personal narratives.

“PINK LOTUS” 🪷 Live Performance by OR NAH
Tonight, May 21, 2026 | 6 PM – 8 PM

🪷✨ Join us on May 21st for a special live performance by artist Katie Cercone aka OR NAH at The Untitled Space 🌸🐍

Presented in conjunction with “IN FULL BLOOM,” Cercone’s performance “Pink Lotus” is a shakti-infused yoga dance flow involving the lotus mudra, exploring divine feminine energy, embodiment, spiritual awakening, sensuality, and transformation through movement and ritual.

Inspired by the symbolism of the pink lotus — associated with enlightenment, rebirth, purity, divine love, and transcendence — “Pink Lotus” reimagines the body as both altar and vessel. Rooted in ancient goddess traditions and the transformative energy of the thousand-petaled lotus at the Crown Chakra, the performance becomes an immersive meditation on becoming, consciousness, liberation, and bloom. ✨🌺

Guests are invited to enjoy cocktails while experiencing the performance and viewing “IN FULL BLOOM,” our current exhibition curated by Indira Cesarine featuring 34 women artists exploring floral and botanical imagery as a lens for transformation, identity, resilience, and power.

Please join us for the opening reception of “IN FULL BLOOM”, a group exhibition bringing together 34 women artists whose work engages floral and botanical imagery as a framework for exploring transformation, embodiment, and power.

Curated by The Untitled Space’s founder, artist Indira Cesarine, the exhibition spans painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, installation, and performance. “IN FULL BLOOM” reclaims the flower from traditional associations with decoration and passivity—reframing it as a site of agency and inquiry.

Across the exhibition, the bloom operates as both subject and metaphor, moving between intimate experience and collective symbolism. Floral and organic forms emerge within surreal and psychologically charged landscapes, acting as carriers of memory and emotion. Through diverse practices, the artists explore cycles of growth, tension, fragility, and regeneration—revealing the botanical as an active force rather than a static symbol.

By recontextualizing imagery historically coded as feminine, “IN FULL BLOOM” highlights the complexity of floral language—positioning it as a powerful visual tool that speaks to resilience, sensuality, resistance, and self-definition.
