Thank you, and , for having me last week.

At , I ran my first documentary photography workshop in the USA with nine great students. The results from their work were outstanding. and I will soon share their work!

At , I gave a talk on my book JAMAIKA for a not-so-big audience, but a very good one! Thanks, , for this event! I will see you soon with my next book!

The book JAMAIKA is now available at in NYC. Don’t miss a chance to visit this beautiful bookstore!

and still have a couple of copies, too.

Also, when I landed in NYC, I got the good news that JAMAIKA was a finalist for the book award in the independent category. The book will be available at their exhibition in the Los Angeles Center of Photography in Downtown LA.

Strange times to visit the US. Still felt a warm welcome in NYC, and I hope to be back soon for more workshops, friends catching up - beers, wine and good food - work meetings, book talks and family catch-ups

Thank you!

Song my . This project, film and book,
would never exist without him and our collaboration. Thanks to him and to all the beautiful people from Bairro da Jamaica that I met throughout this project.

Thanks to for sequencing the book with me and to my super talented sister , who designed the book.
