"Exhibition of Master Dajue's Carving of Zisha Teapots Made by Liu Rongping" at Rongbaozhai Art Museum.

At 15:30 on March 30, 2024, the "Exhibition of Zisha Teapots Carved by Master Dajue and Made by Liu Rongping" hosted by Rongbaozhai Journal, undertaken by Beijing Qielu Culture and Art Development Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Liu Rongping Art Studio and Beijing Shanggu Culture and Art Co., Ltd. opened in the second exhibition hall of Rongbaozhai Building Art Museum.

This exhibition features 52 purple clay teapots carved by Shi Dajue (common name Yang Yan) in 2022 and six refined by Liu Rongping. Among them, the capacity of the traditional teapots of Jinglan Teapot, Lotus Seed Teapot, Handuo Teapot, Hanfang Teapot, Shipiao Teapot, and Qinquan Teapot has been increased, and the teapot shape is more majestic and graceful. In addition to landscapes, flowers, and figures, Shi Dajue also expresses the universe quantum, Buddhist experience, humanistic care and other insights. In terms of carving methods, unlike other carvers, he especially tries to achieve a surprise victory by means of stacking. These works include "This World Will Be Good" and "Universe" by Hanfang Teapot, "De Lu" by Lotus Seed Teapot, "Ask" and "Can" by Handuo, etc.

On the opening day, guests included Tang Hui, deputy general manager of Rongbaozhai, Liu Bei, president of Rongbaozhai Publishing House, Li Xiangyang, editor-in-chief of Rongbaozhai magazine, etc. Experts included Ji Yishun, master of Chinese arts and crafts, Li Shoucai, master of Chinese ceramic art, etc. Leaders and experts spoke highly of the artistic achievements of Shi Dajue and Liu Rongping.
