They grow them without synthetic chemicals, and then they process them in a manner used hundreds of years ago. They accomplish this by doing everything, from planting to milling, on their farm. Unhappy with the introduction of GMOs and agriculture’s increasing use of chemicals, they began experimenting with organic methods, starting small with their first certified organic sweet corn in 2007.
