Aloha! Excited to announce an upcoming "White Ships" presentation at the wonderful Los Angeles Maritime Museum in San Pedro, CA. The event - at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 - will feature Duncan O'Brien giving a fun and informative talk about the Golden Age of cruising on the Pacific. Live Hawaiian music by Kamaki Keawe will also be featured.

Please come along for plenty of nostalgia, and bring your Matson memories! Event is free with museum admission. 🤙🛳️🌺

Have you seen the beautiful new crosswalk art at the intersection of 6th and Mesa streets in San Pedro?

Artist Lua Kobayashi designed an overlapping school of bluefin tuna inspired by her family's heritage of living in the Japanese Fishing Village on Terminal Island. This artist-designed crosswalk demonstration project was sponsored by the San Pedro Waterfront Arts District with funding from the Port of Los Angeles Community Investment Grant Program.
