🎨 Create your own Freedom Flag Collage in the PPG STEAM Studio. (at Museum)

📍 Saturday:
🎉Visit the Museum of Discovery activity booth at Juneteenth in Da Rock Festival (in the kid zone).
📚 Wiggle Worms featuring the story of pioneering chemist Alice Augusta Ball and a hands-on science activity for young learners. 10:30am (at Museum)
🥁 Hand Drums & Storytelling with Zinse Agginie, exploring African folklore, culture, and traditions through music and storytelling. 11am, 12pm, and 1pm (at Museum)

Stories, rhythm, laughter, and lessons come together this summer at the Museum of Discovery!

📖 Storytelling Sessions
Saturdays: June 6, 13, 20, 27, and July 4
11 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1 p.m.
Included with museum admission
Tickets available first-come, first-served at the museum on the day of each session
Limited to 25 guests per session

Join award-winning storyteller Zinse Agginie for a special storytelling series inspired by African folklore traditions. Through lively characters, interactive storytelling, and hand drums, Zinse brings timeless tales to life while exploring themes of honesty, kindness, respect, community, and responsibility. Zinse has spent decades using storytelling and percussion to inspire creativity and cultural understanding in audiences of all ages.

Whether you're discovering the adventures of Anansi the Spider, learning why rules matter in the forest, or exploring lessons about fairness and friendship, each story offers a fun and memorable experience for the whole family.

Special thanks to the Arkansas Arts Council for supporting this series and helping bring engaging cultural programming to our community.

We are having a local bite pop up at the museum with Fassler Hall! 🥨🌭They will be here 10:30 am-2:00 pm on Saturdays June 6, June 13, and June 27. They will be selling Pretzel sticks, House chips, Bratwurstm Frankfurter (hot dogs), and Chicken Schnitzel sliders in our Gigabyte Kitchen. Stop in to enjoy a bite with your Saturday visit!
