Introducing Earl Mott, Spark! Star 2026 💫

Earl Mott, PE is Garver's director of field services, bringing more than 35 years of experience designing, constructing, and overseeing critical infrastructure projects across Arkansas and the region. A Little Rock native and University of Arkansas graduate, Earl began his career with Garver's Aviation Team and has since become one of the firm's most respected leaders, helping shape transportation and infrastructure improvements that connect communities and strengthen economic growth throughout the state.

Throughout his career, Earl has led some of Arkansas's most significant infrastructure initiatives. He served as project manager for the Arkansas Department of Transportation's (ARDOT) historic 30 Crossing Project, the largest undertaking in the agency's history, and has delivered 36 construction projects through ARDOT's Connecting Arkansas Program. His experience also includes construction support for Clinton National Airport and numerous transportation improvements statewide. Today, his team is slated to perform construction, engineering, and inspection services for the replacement of I-55 Mississippi River Bridge between Arkansas and Tennessee, one of the region's most important upcoming transportation projects.

Earlier this year, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders appointed Earl to the Arkansas State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors, where he helps oversee the licensing and professional standards of engineers and surveyors across the state.

Did you know? According to an MIT study in 2023, “The gender gap in STEM remains significant, with women making up only 28% of the STEM workforce.”

How can you help? For as little as the price of a Spark! Gala ticket, you can be the spark that ignites a young woman’s passion for science or math.

Your ticket purchase allows the museum to continue offering Girls in STEM to communities across the state – at no cost to the participant or their families!
