Lukas Martin is a former staffer in the Political Department of the Office of President Havel of the Czech Republic during President Havel's state visit with President Bill Clinton in September 1998. Martin shares with us his account of the visit and how it was a great step for the future.

During this program, visiting Fulbright Scholar Veronika Pikola Brazdilova, international projects manager at the Václav Havel Library, and Glyn Davies, who served as executive secretary for the National Security Council in the Clinton administration, will explore the state visit from the perspectives of both President Havel and President Clinton.
