Sunday, August 2nd we had a Caldwell Celebration Day at the Lake George Historical Association!

Named for James Caldwell, whose settlement gave our village its original name, Caldwell Celebration Day is an opportunity to remember the people and stories that helped shape the history of Lake George.

Visitors enjoyed a day of live music by the Adirondack Rovers, explored a special slideshow highlighting the history of James Caldwell and early Caldwell Village, and helped us commemorate the occasion with a beautiful cake generously donated by Lake George Baking Company. Thank you for helping make the celebration even sweeter!

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us, and to Lake George Baking Co. for their generous support of this year's celebration.
