Warrensburgh Museum of Local History The museum has been open in its current form since 2009. For future reference please check us out at www.whs12885.org

The collection is uniquely displayed so that visitors experience local history from our distant past to present day. The story is told chronologically and includes artifacts, photographs and text. Exhibits include government, education, churches, commerce and entertainments. Water-powered industries made it an economic powerhouse by the end of the nineteenth century, employing up to 2,000 men and women in the manufacture of lumber, clothing, building components and related products.

A Look Back at Warrensburg History: The Warrensburgh News Office

Built in 1899, the Warrensburgh News building on Elm Street was once a familiar landmark in our community.

John L. Tubbs served as editor from 1890 to 1932, becoming a well-known figure in Warrensburg. Beyond the newspaper, he was a talented musician and dedicated community member.

Though the building no longer stands, its history remains part of Warrensburg’s story!

The Shadows of Warrensburgh Ghost Walk scheduled for Saturday, October 17, has been canceled.

But there are still two opportunities to step into Warrensburgh's haunted history!
