Every artifact preserved. Every story told. Every program made possible — because of support like yours.

This year's Annual Appeal is a chance for individuals and businesses to invest directly in the work of the Warren County Historical Society: caring for our collections, keeping our doors open to the public, and sharing Warren County's story with the next generation.
Your gift, in any amount, makes a real difference. Want to do even more? Start your own fundraising page and invite others to join you in supporting us.

This edition of Rewind looks back at Gerald B.H. Solomon — the "ultra-patriotic" congressman from Queensbury who represented Warren, Washington, and Saratoga counties for two decades. A Marine Corps veteran, Solomon got his start as Queensbury Town Supervisor before rising to chair the powerful House Rules Committee in Washington. He was known for wearing an American flag pin on his lapel before it became common practice, for championing veterans (helping elevate the VA to a cabinet-level department), and for standing firm on his conservative principles — all while finding common ground with colleagues across the aisle, including Nancy Pelosi and Tom Lantos. Add History to Your School Supply List!

It's that time of year again — new notebooks, fresh pencils, and a class schedule to memorize. This back-to-school season, the Warren County Historical Society invites students and educators to add one more thing to the list: a WCHS membership.

A student or educator membership gives you year-round access to hands-on local history right here in Warren County — perfect for research papers, class projects, National History Day, or simply exploring where you're from.

Membership includes:
● Research assistance and access to our local history &
genealogy collection
● Special programs and lectures
● Educational programs
● Passtimes, our quarterly newsletter
● 10% off in the WCHS Book & Gift Shop
Whether you're a student working on a project, a teacher building local-history lessons, or a family looking to dig into your own roots, WCHS membership puts our research staff and collections to work for you.
