Westwood is the historic home, studio, and gallery of artist Adelia Armstrong Lutz (1853-1931). You may purchase tickets in advance on our website.

WINTER CLOSURE
Historic Westwood will be closed to the public the months of January and February. We will reopen on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Cash is accepted along with all major credit cards. Simply show the docent your digital receipt. Please call ahead to book large group tours of 8 or more individuals.

OR SAFETY GUIDELINES

Historic Westwood is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our visitors, staff, and volunteers. We monitor both local and national government agencies and health authorities for updates on ways to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Capacity: Tours are given at the top of every hour and are limited to 8 individuals. We are currently not accepting reservations except for groups of 8 or more. Tickets may be purchased in advance in order to limit contact with staff and docents. Face Coverings: All staff, volunteers, and visitors are required to wear a mask or face covering while indoors while on a tour. Sanitation: Hand sanitizer is provided at the main entrance. Please refrain from touching books, art, or other decorative items on display. We appreciate your cooperation during this time and look forward to welcoming you to Historic Westwood.

Earlier this year, Historic Westwood was awarded a $32,925 Capital Maintenance and Improvements Grant from the State of Tennessee through the Tennessee State Museum to help repair the home's front porch ceiling and decking, as well as a portion of the slate roof. ❤️

"This grant helps us to properly steward one of Knoxville’s most unique and beautiful historic properties, enabling Knox Heritage to use our other sources of funding to create more impact throughout our broader community," said Christine Cloninger, Knox Heritage's Executive Director.
