GULP! presents Interplanetary Criminal at Art Club 9/5

A pivotal figure in the UK electronic scene, is a torchbearer for the modern UK garage and breakbeat scene. Through his releases for labels like Banoffee Pies, Shall Not Fade, and Time is Now and now-legendary performances at Dekmantel and Boiler Room, he’s championed a dark, slick version of UK garage that emphasizes tight percussion, low-end bass weight and unrelenting energy.

In 2019, he co-founded ATW Records with fellow producer and DJ Main Phase as a platform for the burgeoning UK garage and breakbeat scenes, releasing records from artists like bullet tooth, Riordan, and Silva Bumpa. And in 2022, he crossed over into pop territory, releasing the garage-tinted hit “B.O.T.A (Baddest of them All)” with Eliza Rose—a track that topped the charts in the UK and has now been certified 2x platinum.

is a Liverpool-born vocalist who has risen from performing in UK bands to becoming one of electronic music’s most recognizable voices, with collaborations with artists including deadmau5, Kaskade, John Summit, Kygo, MEDUZA, ILLENIUM, and Nelly Furtado.

Please note only Eventrill tickets will be accepted at the door. White Oak tickets will not be accepted.

8/28 INVT touch down at Art Club with their sun-soaked, bass-driven sonics.
 
Miami-bred duo INVT are known for their sound system-focused music, blending club genres with dub influences, swung rhythms, and Latin-rooted percussion. Their catalog spans over 200 tracks, alongside live hardware performances and DJ sets at institutions including DC-10 (Circoloco), Fabric, Panorama Bar, Blitz, Club Space, Nowadays and Draaimolen, with notable b2bs with acts like Skream, Skee Mask, Sammy Virji, Bradley Zero and DJ Python.
 
All aspects of the project are developed in house by the pair. They write, produce, mix, and master their own music, while also designing the visual side of the project themselves through clothing collections, art exhibits, videos, and album artwork. Built on lifelong friendship and a shared commitment to authentic electronic music, INVT continue to champion Miami talent while carving out their own lane within contemporary global dance music.
