We are excited to announce our first fundraising gala! Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 21st and join us for a bit of Victorian fun at the Moody Mansion. Sponsorship and ticket details can be found on our website, leaguekempnerhouse.org

A big thank you to the Mary Moody Northen Endowment for their donation of the mansion for this inaugural event. We are so lucky to have a neighbor like them who has been guiding and supporting us from the beginning.

Please say a special prayer for our friend Ricardo. He fell off a ladder Wednesday (not here, but on a different job), and severely broke his elbow. He should have had emergency surgery right away but has been bounced around to three different doctors. We have been working to secure his medical care and hope that he will get his surgery today or tomorrow.

While Summer is coming to an end, the heat is definitely not, but our summer gardens are still going strong.
