The Bryan Museum, located in the historic Galveston Orphans Home, houses The Bryan Collection, one of the world's largest collections of historical artifacts, documents, and artwork relating to the American West. and Mary Jon Bryan, it spans more than 12,000 years, and its pieces range from ancient Native American cultural artifacts to modern twenty-first century objects.

James Bevill presents “Land Speculation in the Throes of the Texas Revolution,” exploring how money and land deals helped shape Texas independence. Tex Talk tickets are $5, with space for 35 guests.
