Community members are invited to bring photographs, letters, documents, and other meaningful items for this in-person digitization event. Collection experts will give you tips on how to care for your keepsakes and make sure you walk away with a flash drive of your digitized items. Sign up for our raffle to win some goodies to help you protect your family's keepsakes!

Bring family members along with your cell phone, and create a short, interactive family oral history interview! The event is FREE, but registration is required. To register, just use the link:

Ever wondered how banks have changed over the years? The Galveston County Museum features photographs, artifacts, and more from the historic Moody National Bank on Galveston Island. Come take a look at the items and tools once used in banking and discover how things were done in the past!

Have you gotten your pinch pot kit from the Galveston County Museum yet? It's not too late! We are giving them away throughout the whole month of October while supplies last. Stop into the museum, learn about the history of our community, and leave with a special project for your kids to do at home.
