Help us keep this historic rail car intact and not be scrapped. If we do nothing it will be stripped down and sold for scrap metal. We have a new home waiting for it at the Fullerton Train Museum. We need your help in raising the funds to get it there before it’s too late. Your donations will help us move this car to where it will join other historic rail cars at the Fullerton Train Museum.

The Fullerton Train Museum would like to thank all the people who came out to our little museum today and walked around the rail cars. We are sorry we did not have the Halloween Scary Train but we loved seeing all the costumes. We love and appreciate all your support. And a big thanks to all who put money in our donation boxes and signed up for Memberships. We can’t do this without your kindness and generosity. Thanks again from all of us at the Fullerton Train Museum!

Fullerton Train Museum has been given the OK to reopen.....Yeah!
Save the date........October 17, 2020 9AM-Noon
We will continue to be open the first and third Saturday of the month.
There are guidelines: Masks must be worn by everyone over the age of 2;
Social distancing is encouraged; One person or family per car; Tours are self-guided; Docents available to answer questions; Hand sanitizers throughput the cars and to avoid touching surfaces. It is hard for us to clean surfaces between groups.

It is also our Annual Membership Drive for 2021
Your continued support will enable us to build and grow our museum. Our 2021 goal is to acquire a 1949 Union Pacific Railcar that will allow us to display the many rail artifacts we have in storage. Just to move this car will cost a significant amount of money but also any restoration it might need to get it ready of viewing.

Just to keep our museum friends updated, we are looking to reopen the museum on June 6th, but we first establish guidelines as set by the CDC. this might be difficult given some of the spaces within the rail cars.
Since we have not been able to have open houses, our donations are down, your financial support is critical . It is our visitors financial contributions that gives us the resources to continue working, restoring our rail cars and improving our museum. In this era of Covid-19, we are asking our visitors to consider making a donation, if you can!
If everyone who liked our page would donate a dollar or two, you would be helping the museum a lot.

If things were normal, we would be celebrating Railroad Days this weekend. Something a lot people were looking forward to! Sadly, things are not normal right now and all non-profits, which rely on donations and events to generate money to continue their projects, have seen their revenue dry up. The Fullerton Train Museum is no different. We can’t even have open houses which helped with donations. I know every nonprofit is asking for donations but if you would like to help the Fullerton Train Museum, please go our website and make a donation or membership through the PayPal link. The Fullerton Train Museum would really appreciate it!

It is with heavy heart that this announcement must be made

The Fullerton Train Museum wants to thank all who came out yesterday to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. We hoped you enjoyed all the decorations in the rail cars and especially our little elf. Thank you to all of our visitors who help spread the word about our little train museum. With your generosity and support, we hope to add a new car or two next year to our existing collection. This will allow us to increase our display space and add a kid activity or two.
We are always looking for volunteers willing to help in the restoration of the cars and cabooses, help with Saturday open houses and help when we have special events, like yesterday. No talent is necessary just willingness to do a little work.
Thank you again for supporting the Fullerton Train Museum, the only one of its kind in Orange County. Keep following us for updates on future events
