The Leather Archives & Museum is renovating our building and celebrating our 35th anniversary, making this an especially meaningful time to join.
We were founded in 1991 as the National Gay and Le***an Archive. Within months, we realized the need to be intentional about our work to focus on the preservation of leather, kink, fe**sh and B**M and we changed our name to Leather Archives & Museum. For over three decades, LA&M has preserved leather, kink, fe**sh, and B**M history that exists almost nowhere else.
This renovation is a chance to make our history more accessible, more visible, and better protected for the future.
We're aiming to welcome 100 new and renewing members by October 31. Anyone who joins during this campaign will be recognized as an Anniversary Member — a distinction only available right now, during our 35th anniversary celebrations.
Every member receives a unique membership card, and at higher levels there are even more ways to be recognized as a founding supporter:

Eagle — $120 — + membership pin
Power — $250 — + limited edition t-shirt
Sustaining — $500 — + VIP invitation to the ribbon-cutting for
the new building
Change Agent — $1,000 — + framed limited edition print
