The Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics (GoCM), Chicago, exhibits internationally renowned master, emerging and established contemporary mosaic artists. GoCM promotes artists who employ an exemplary conceptual and technical excellence through a multitude of approaches and materials. GoCM is the first venue in the US to bring this relatively unrecognized art form to new audiences with specific and care

fully selected artists through exhibitions in our beautiful facility and beyond. GoCM is affiliated with The Chicago Mosaic School (CMS), the preeminent center for mosaic arts education in the Americas. The Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics is profoundly reshaping how one may experience mosaics as a new art medium through the works of our outstanding artists.

GoCM presents MADE IN CHICAGO, an exhibition featuring a collection of local emerging and under-represented artists working in a variety of disciplines- drawing, painting, sculpture, fiber, collage, photography and mosaic.

These twenty-five artists who live and work in the Chicago metropolitan area reflect the rich and diverse creative community through works in portraiture, landscape, abstraction and visual narratives.

Join us on Friday, September 11 at 7:00pm in the Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics for an opening reception.
