After a long day of prop building for May-Stringer Ghostfest and Haunted House, we're exhausted down to our bones 💀

Still, watching things come together has us more excited than ever for what's coming, and we can't wait for you all to see it! We do what we do on a very limited budget with an all-volunteer team, so every shoutout and kind word means the world to those of us pouring our blood, sweat, and tears into this event.

When we say that this is a year full of surprises, we mean it. We've got an all-new kind of maze layout, some next-level scares, and plenty more that would spoil the surprise if we told you now 😉

Right now, us here at Curators of Fear have to focus all we've got on making this haunt the best it can be for you all. Any further events will be taking place after Halloween, so stay tuned for those announcements! 👻

Interested in Brooksville's haunted history? You're in luck!

This year, Broad Street Brewing Co. is holding their first annual Historic Haunts Hunt & Crawl, and it's sure to disturb and delight. Enjoy vendors, food trucks, and live music at the brewery, then make your way through Downtown Brooksville to each spooky stop to collect some goodies and discover what's lurking in the dark 👻

Just make sure you give yourself ample time for our haunt at Ghostfest! As long as you're in line by 11pm, you're guaranteed the experience. This one's gonna be like nothing we've ever done, and you will NOT wanna miss it.

As plenty of y'all are aware, we had a planned event for today that's been rescheduled for the fall. It was originally going to be a celebration of the second anniversary of Rite Here Rite Now, the one and only concert film of the band quite a few of us keep on constant playlist rotation while building and prepping our haunt... but something has changed now that a second film is on the way! With that in mind, we'd like to host a pre-movie fan meet if nearby theaters get the film in!

We're also hoping to hold a small Halloween decor swap meet and market in the coming months, so keep an eye out for that 👻

What a night! Thank you to everyone who contributed to what we now can call our FIRST ANNUAL Summerween at Broad Street Brewing Co.!

From the bottom of our heart, thanks to our vendors, musicians, raffle prize donors, contest entrants, and guests. It's a difficult thing putting on a brand new event for the first time with a small team like ours, but you all made it worthwhile. We jammed out, rocked out, dressed up, bottoms up'd, and had a scary good time, even as we changed to plan b on the fly and scrambled to be five places at once from time to time.

Rest assured, we'll be doing this again next year bigger and better with more to do, more to buy, and even more to win!

Enjoying some setup night scary-oke at Broad Street Brewing Co. with a watermelon c***r! We've had a busy day gathering up raffle prizes from Citrus and Sage, Mountaineer, the Bistro, Artisan Haven, and more... and still had more to do, so we're here balancing work and fun as best we can (leaning towards fun, of course).

Don't forget: The Summerween festivities kick off at 6pm tomorrow, with plenty of ways to win FREE Ghostfest tickets!

We've got something for everyone, with three different music experiences, nine incredible vendors, and our partnered tarot reader. While karaoke's been taken off the bill for the main event, be sure to join us for our scary-oke pre-party on June 5th as we transform the brewery for the next day's big bash!
