Interested in touching a piece of the 1600s?
Swipe to see the intricate, hand-printed illustrations inside a massive 1687 Dutch Bible, originally owned by Jacobus Verplanck over 330 years ago! While rare artifacts like this are usually kept safely behind glass or in vault storage, we are opening our collection to you this September.
Our exclusive White Glove Tour includes a guided tour of the house and grounds, followed by the opportunity to "hold history in your hands." You'll put on the trademark white gloves and examing centuries-old collection pieces up close and out of storage, including the Verplanck family Bible, Victorian-era men and women's clothing, and historic military artifacts.Â
