Less than 2 weeks ago we held our first campus-wide Exploration Aviation event at Spark Science Center and Abilene Heritage Square and welcomed over 530 guests to celebrate all things aviation!

We would like to thank a few of the organizations we partnered with: National WASP WWII Museum for bringing their VR experience and mobile museum trailer; Abilene Public Library for participating in story time and STEM aviation activities; KTAB News for speaking on the relationship between weather and aviation; Region 14 Education Service Center for bringing fun programmable drones; EAA - The Spirit of Aviation for bringing pilots as our guest speakers; and Dave Vargo for bringing his detailed memorabilia table! Our event was such a success because of each of you!

Stay tuned for next year's Exploration Aviation!
