Juror’s Award: HOMEBOUND by Larla Morales; found Wood, altered Abilene Brick Co., clothingline, pine

Artist Statement: "Homebound" features altered bricks from the Abilene Brick Co. and explores the experience and tension of coming into adulthood in one's hometown and all the ties that bind me home. Loose ends, wreathed wood and cotton clothing line are a distillation of the environment from which this piece grew.

On view through November 26th.
