✨ Next stop: Venice!

We are incredibly proud to share that Andrés Anza and Dana Zvulun have been selected for the prestigious 2026 edition of Homo Faber: “An Island of Light”, taking place at Fondazione Giorgio Cini on San Giorgio Maggiore island.

Under the artistic direction of British artist Es Devlin and curated by the Michelangelo Foundation, this international celebration of craftsmanship brings together over 800 works to tell a story of human talent and skill.

To have both Andrés and Dana representing the gallery’s research in such an extraordinary, global showcase of contemporary craft is a true honor.

If you are visiting Venice this September, this immersive journey is an absolute must!

Our summer journey takes us back to Rome, stepping inside Claudia Peill’s studio as she prepares for her upcoming solo exhibition, “Extension”, curated by Maria Giuseppina Di Monte and Martina Casadio.

Opening on September 30th at the historic Casa Museo Boncompagni Ludovisi, the exhibition will present a major body of mostly unseen works created between 2024 and 2026, inspired by clouds and the sky.

🇮🇹 Summer destinations: Rome!

If you are spending August in Rome, we highly recommend a journey to MAXXI – National Museum of 21st Century Arts, where three of our artists are featured in major, ongoing group exhibitions.

Inside the museum’s main galleries, Loredana Longo’s powerful research is part of “Tragicomica”, a major survey exploring the friction between the tragic and the comic in Italian art from the post-war period to today.

Meanwhile, at Extra MAXXI, evocative sculptures by Bertozzi & Casoni and Aron Demetz are on view in “Creature, Creatori”, an exhibition investigating the enduring influence of Franciscan thought, nature, and spirituality in contemporary practice.

Don’t miss the chance to experience their museum presentations before they close in late September!

📅 On view until September 20, 2026

🇺🇸 Summer destinations: Sag Harbor!

For this week’s summer art destination, we cross the Atlantic to the historic coastal town of Sag Harbor, New York, where Helina Metaferia’s work is featured in the group exhibition “It Was Written in the Sand” at the Eastville Heritage House Museum.

Metaferia’s interdisciplinary practice - integrating collage, assemblage, and archival research - powerfully elevates overlooked narratives of intersectional identities and histories of activism. Set within the rich historical context of the Eastville community, the exhibition offers a profound reflection on heritage, memory, and collective storytelling.

If your summer travels bring you to the Hamptons, this exhibition is an absolute must-see.

Organized under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy in Beijing and the Italian Cultural Institute, the exhibition traces over a century of Italian art, placing 20th-century masters in dialogue with leading contemporary voices.

Bramante’s work is presented within a special section dedicated to the artistic residency program Sviluppi del Contemporaneo, featuring pieces created in Beijing that reflect a deep cultural exchange between Italy and China.

🇳🇱 Summer destinations: Amsterdam!

For the second stop of our summer art journey, we head to the canals of Amsterdam, where Martine Gutierrez’s solo exhibition “Wunderkind” is currently on view at Huis Marseille, Museum for Photography.

Through a vibrant and deeply personal series of photographs and performances centered around the themes of play and childhood, the artist explores the complex performance of identity, gender, and sexuality.

If you find yourself in the Netherlands this summer, “Wunderkind” is a must-visit. The exhibition is open and runs until October 18th, 2026.
