Gianni Politi’s exhibition “Ruins and Revelations” opens tomorrow, Wednesday 5 February at 18:30 in the gallery in Rome.

Showcasing his most recent paintings, cast sculptures and large works on paper, this exhibition reveals Politi (b. Rome 1986) to be deeply rooted in both the classical and modern pictorial traditions of his native Italy, suggesting the struggle between past and present in images which shift between abstract and figurative.

Francesco Clemente’s exhibition
“Anima nomade” curated by Bartolomeo Pietromarchi is on view at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Roma until 30
March 2025.
It is the largest personal show in Italy dedicated to Clemente’s work and it is conceived as a large installation displaying 6 large tents, 12 flags and the wall painting cycle created in situ, “Oceano di Storie”, guiding the visitor through the essence of an eternally travelling soul.

Pietro Ruffo’s exhibition “L’ultimo meraviglioso minuto”, curated by Sébastien Delot in Palazzo delle Esposizioni remains open until 16 February 2025.

Pietro Ruffo questions man’s impact on the Earth in his relatively brief existence, exploring the legitimacy of the term Anthropocene. In his works he condenses the history of our planet and human consciousness.

Giorgio Griffa Foundation opens to the public on 25 October with the group show INSIDE, curated by Sébastien Delot in Via Oropa 28, Torino.

The exhibition is a choral exploration of the architectural space of Via Oropa 28 and the intersection between the various artistic practices that have taken shape in it over time.
Giorgio Griffa along with Marco Gastini, Luigi Mainolfi, Nunzio, Elisa Sighicelli, Grazia Toderi, Ghilberto Zorio come together to focus on the promotion of contemporary artistic practice and engagement.

Pietro RUFFO’s new exhibition opens on Tuesday 14 February 2023 at the gallery in Rome, from 18:30 to 20:00. Titled “The Planetary Garden”, the show is Ruffo’s reflection on human evolution and our interactions with Earth. Book Presentation: Wednesday 25 January 2023, 6-7pm. “Afternoon At Palazzo Altemps” - A book of photographs by Simon Watson (@simonpwatson). In his new book “Afternoon at Palazzo Altemps”, the distinguished Irish photographer Simon Watson explores the sublime 15th century palazzo near Piazza Navona in Rome.  Palazzo Altemps is very familiar to Watson from his many visits to Rome; he says: “The photographs in this monograph are a culmination of the many visits and observations I’ve made over the years. Indeed, some sculptures began to feel like old friends, and in some way I began a relationship with the museum and its contents, which I’ve photographed dozens of times. It wasn’t my original intention to make a book, but back in my studio the images willed their way from my archive and onto the pages of this volume.” Originally designed by Melozzo da Forlì (1438-1494), the building saw great events and occasions over the centuries, including performances by Mozart during his stay in Rome.
