Az ISBN+ művészeti szakkönyvesbolt és kortársművészeti galéria. A galéria nevét a kiadványok azonosítását szolgáló, 13 jegyű azonosítóról, az ISBN-számról (International Standard Book Number) kapta. Az ISBN+ – könyv&galéria legfontosabb missziója és célkitűzése a hazai és régiós, magyar és idegennyelvű, új és antikvár kortárs művészeti kiadványok, kiállítási katalógusok, zinek, artistbookok, photobookok és művészetelméleti kiadványok feltérképezése, összegyűjtése, kiállítása és forgalmazása. További célok:
A hazai független kiadók képviselete, kiadványaik hozzáférhetőséségének elősegítése. A hazai és régiós kiadású, limitált példányszámú művészkönyvek, fanzine-ok, photobookok és egyéb egyedi kiadványok feltérképezése és forgalmazása. Kapcsolatteremtés és a párbeszéd elősegítése a hazai és régiós független kiadványokkal foglalkozó művészek és szakemberek között. Magyar és közép-kelet-európai, fiatal és középgenerációs képzőművészeknek és kurátoroknak nyújtott egyéni, és csoportos kiállítási lehetőség az ISBN galériaterében. Művészeti kiadványokkal és időszaki kiállításainkkal kapcsolatos szakmai programok és események rendszeres szervezése és lebonyolítása. kerületi Baross utcában található, pár perc sétára a Kálvin vagy a Harminckettesek terétől. A könyvesbolt folyamatosan bővülő kínálattal állandó nyitvatartással üzemel, míg a galériatér időszaki kiállításoknak és változatos szakmai programoknak biztosít helyszínt. What? The ISBN is an art bookstore and a contemporary art gallery. The name of the gallery was obtained from the 13-digit identification number for publication, the ISBN-number (International Standard Book Number). The most important mission of the ISBN – books+gallery is the mapping, collecting, exhibition and distribution of domestic and regional, Hungarian and foreign language, new and antique contemporary art publications, exhibition catalogs, zines, art books, photobooks and theoretical publications. Additional goals:
Representation of domestic independent publishers, promotion of their publications. The mapping and distribution of domestic and regional limited edition art books, zines, fanzines, photobooks and other unique publications. Creating links and facilitating dialogue between artists and professionals dealing with domestic and regional independent publications. Providing individual and group exhibition possibility for Hungarian and Central and Eastern European young and middle generation artists and curators in the ISBN gallery space. Organizing and conducting professional programs and events related to artistic publications and the exhibitions. Our address is: 1085 Budapest, Baross u 42. Opening: Tuesday, 12nd December, 2017
