Hello and welcome to the Orleans House Gallery page. We are a contemporary visual arts gallery in Twickenham, and a platform for artists, as such we will often share their works, thoughts and opinions here. Visit us to find contemporary art, family activities, wild woodlands, historical buildings, and a café. Entry to the galleries is free, including entry to the lavish Baroque Octagon Room, join one of our tours to explore the history of the site or book the stunning Grade 1 listed building for your wedding. Things are growing at Orleans House Gallery!

Our garden volunteers are giving the courtyard grassland a helping hand with a traditional green hay transfer, using fresh, seed-rich meadow hay donated by English Heritage from Marble Hill Park

The hay is packed with native wildflower seeds collected from Marble Hill’s Orchard and Icehouse Quarters (including knapweed, poppies, buttercups, oxeye daisies, red campion, bedstraws, vetches and yellow rattle) 🌼

By spreading this locally sourced hay, we’re helping increase plant diversity, bring more seasonal colour to the courtyard and create an even richer habitat for pollinators 🐝🦋

A huge thank you to our wonderful garden volunteers and the team at English Heritage 🌿

Keep an eye on the courtyard next spring and summer to see how our new meadow develops…

Opening celebration of Ronald Moody: Sculpting Life and a special live performance, Sculpting Sound: Sonic Contours, curated by Bumi Thomas.

Featuring world-renowned kora player and composer Tunde Jegede alongside harpist Ruby Aspinall, this unique improvised performance responds directly to Moody’s sculptures, weaving together sound, memory, migration and cultural storytelling.

Experience the gallery transformed into a living conversation between sculpture and music.
