Chaos Theory II by award winning London contemporary artist

Jo’s work has featured on book, album and magazine covers and here at we can see why.

‘It’s the mixture of calm beauty and ambiguity throughout all of Jo Holdsworth’s paintings that mesmerises the viewer.’ London art critic Tabish Khan writing recently about Jo Holdsworth’s work in World of FAD.

Living and working in London, Jo takes inspiration from the capital’s ever-changing landscape and urban city views, as well as reflections on the British coast at low tide.

The artist’s technique has a skilful expressiveness and spontaneity. Thick layers of paint are ingeniously applied with a range of implements in a way that mimics the downpour of rain, the puddling of water on the ground and the beautiful yet distorted reflections this brings.

We have always enjoyed working with London based contemporary artist

Jo has had two major solo shows this year and her work continues to go from strength to strength, The first of these Solo Shows which ended in January was at 60 Threadneedle Street in the City of London and appeared in the Sunday Times, Evening Standard, City AM, Arts and Collections and more. The second was over the summer at the gorgeous Neptune homestore in Wimbledon. Also featured in the press, this show combined everything that is important to us, wonderful artwork and beautiful home interiors.
