We are deeply saddened by the passing of iconic Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama 🔴✨

We were so lucky to host her visionary work in both Walking in My Mind (2009), where she transformed our spaces into sprawling, hallucinatory worlds, and later in Space Shifters (2018), which captivated you all through brilliant play with light, reflection and illusion.

The worlds she created will keep inspiring generations to come ❤️

Do your daily errands ever feel like a workout? 🤔 Musquiqui Chihying’s The Jog (2014) flips the mundane routine of grocery shopping on its head.

In modern city life, checkout counters wait for shoppers much like finish lines wait for runners. But instead of hopping on a gym treadmill, Musquiqui uses a supermarket conveyor belt as their track - running directly against the movement of the cashier 🏃🛒

By turning a symbol of consumer convenience into an obstacle course, the work offers a playful, unexpected look at how we move through everyday urban spaces.

📍 Check out Musquiqui Chihying: A Life of Navigation for free in our HENI Project Space until Sun 18 Oct.

A mysterious sculpture that completely draws you in 😵‍💫

Inspired by rock formations like the famous Uluru, artist Anish Kapoor brings vibrant colour and texture into his work. In ‘Ha Makom’ (2026), deep red envelops your sight, immersing your senses directly into the artwork.

Step inside Anish Kapoor’s studio for a rare look at the process behind the perception-bending works currently taking over our gallery 👀🔍

From massive reflective surfaces to deep, light-swallowing voids, see how these monumental forms come to life before visiting us!

Seeing isn't always believing... 🪞

Anish Kapoor's Tsunami (2025) engulfs you not with water, but with liquid reflections of the space, and yourself. Walk past it, and your reflection moves in the opposite direction. Look at the edges, and you’ll see what’s behind you right in front of your eyes 👀

⛰️ Experience the illusion in person until 18 October

Will you be trying to capture tonight’s eclipse? 🌒📹 In 2024, artist Nan Goldin travelled to upstate New York to capture an eclipse on Super 8 and 16mm film which became the starting point for a whole new body of work.

Inspired by ancient mythologies which explained solar eclipses as the sun being stolen by animals, ‘You Never Did Anything Wrong: Part I' imagines a world where animals exist without human intervention.

🌙 Nan Goldin: You Never Did Anything Wrong is coming to Hayward Gallery this winter.

Happy Birthday to the pioneer of Pop Art, Andy Warhol 🎂✨

We’re celebrating today with a trip down memory lane, looking back at his iconic Other Voices, Other Rooms (2008/09) Hayward Gallery exhibition - which transformed the gallery into an immersive multimedia landscape of TV screens, video diaries, archive material and iconic prints.

Were you lucky enough to experience this in person? Let us know comments! 🎨

You could look at Cloak by Anish Kapoor for hours... 🪞⏱️

Nestled on our terrace, the seamless mirror interacts with our brutalist architecture in a way that makes you notice something new every time!

What’s the longest you’ve ever spent with an artwork? Come clean in the comments 😶
