Every fancied having a go at LOOM WEAVING? Try your hand at this heritage craft with our Loom Weaving Workshop in The Folk of Gloucester's historic Tudor building!

In this two-hour workshop, you can learn to use a rigid heddle loom with textiles artist Caroline of Weaving Cats. Combining ancient techniques with early 20th-century design, this small, portable loom is the perfect way for beginners to learn weaving.

Tickets are £25 per person and you will go home with a woven sample which you made during the session! Places are limited, so please make sure to book ahead at: https://www.ticketsource.com/gloucester-civic-trust/loom-weaving-workshop/e-ljzegr

Born in Spain, raised in Chicago, holding dual Irish and American citizenship and now settled in rural England, Sarah McQuaid brings the eclecticism of her background to her “captivating, unorthodox songwriting” (PopMatters) and choice of material, spanning genres and defying categorisation.

Don't forget to book your tickets for Sarah McQuaid - Live at the Folk next Wednesday! https://www.ticketsource.com/gloucester-civic-trust/sarah-mcquaid/e-mqdkqp
