Restored in 2015 with character by the bucket load. Stone flag floors, oak beams and crackling open fires. It is the perfect place for a night away in the heart of the Lancashire countryside.

Always serving a selection of real ales sourced from local breweries, including a bitter, a blonde and an amber ale, but also on tap are Aspalls Suffolk Cider, Estrella Lager, a cracking locally brewed “craft” lager and if they say so themselves the best pint of Guinness this side of the Irish Sea.

"Battlestorm Indoor Laser Tag"

Battlestorm Clitheroe is a family friendly indoor Laser combat centre aimed at those aged 7 and over. Choose your weapon, suit up, put on camoflage and get ready for action!

Battle through the derelict warehouse, disused shop, or defend the military base. Battlestorm is perfect for drop in games, where you can simply turn up and play, or larger group bookings (advance booking may be required for groups, see website).

Each game session can last for 20 minutes up to 1.5 hours, longer sessions can include tactical games like capture the flag and rescue the vip.

Battlestorm is a great day out for the family as adults can play alongside the kids or they can relax in the cafe with a coffee and watch the live action on their LIVE video feed and keep up on the scores with LIVE score updates.

14th Century Cistercian Abbey ruins set in beautiful gardens and woodland beside the River Calder in The Ribble Valley.

Owned by The Anglican Diocese of Blackburn, this Abbey in the heart of Whalley is a lovely day out oozing in history for the whole family, all ages will enjoy.

Open daily from 10.00am – 4.30pm Cloisters Coffee Shop serves light meals, cakes & refreshments . The Gift Shop sells tickets to the grounds and woodland walk, souvenirs, books and gifts. There is also an exhibition describing the historic and spiritual roots of The Abbey. Pre booked guided tours of the ruins are available on request.

"The Old Station Longridge"

The family owned, multi-award winning cafe is situated right in the heart of Longridge on Berry Lane.​

Located in what once was the home of the Local Railway, Longridge Train Station was built in 1840. The tracks linked to villages such as Grimsargh and Preston and ran for over 120 years, with the last freight train making its final journey in 1967.

The tracks were taken up in 1968 and the old station building then remained derelict however in 2010, the station was transformed into the vibrant community area it is today, featuring the town heritage centre, meeting rooms and the cafe.
