I was asked to post a link to the film which was made of the conversation between Stanley and DanieI when the exhibition at the mill was opened. This is the link to the film made by Burnley Film Makers of the meeting.
The exhibition of Daniel's photographs continues until the end of October. It is free to visit and the mill will be open from Wednesday to Saturday, 11am to 4pm with last admission at 3.30pm. Admission is free, although donations towards the running of the museum are welcomed.

A couple of pictures showing the windows being whitewashed during the summer to try to keep the weaving shed a bit cooler. Certainly needed a head for heights to do this job!

We are on the BBC again! On Monday Jayne Cubbin's film on the "Steam, Shuttles and Soot" exhibition will be on Breakfast TV also 1pm National news and North West Tonight!
Make sure you watch it!
Exhibition is open in the Museum from Wednesday to Saturday opening at 11 with last admission 3.30, until the end of October... and the best bit... Its free
Donations to the upkeep and running of the mill are welcome.

Was viewing the exhibition of Daniel Meadows photos recently. Not the easiest to photograph for you due to reflections.
I hadn't seen a photo of the engine from this angle before. Makes you realise how tall the engine shed must be!

Can you help?
On Saturday 5th September the BBC will be at the Museum to film a discussion between Daniel Meadows who took the photos and Stanley Graham who was the last engine driver at Bancroft when the mill was working.
We would like to find anyone who worked at the mill or who had relatives who worked here, and invite them to visit on the Saturday, whole filming is taking place.
The exhibition will be open Wed to Friday from 9th September until the end of October, 11 till 4 free admission except on our steaming days when usual charges will apply.

We may not have F1 cars coming tomorrow, but to lots of people, classic cars are far more interesting.
Pop along and look. They plan to be on site from 11 till about 2, before moving on.
