This is what we call buttering the joints with it being a big heavy frame I do this so the joints stick better, because the end grain will absorb the glue, on smaller frames just adding a bit of glue with you finger is enough, it doesn't take long for the glue to be absorbed.
This way I get a nice strong joints and the frame will not come apart.

Its been a long day today still here in the workshop at 8:25 just finishing up the last of an order, so thought I would do a times lapse of me tapping the back of the picture frame up so it all looks nice for the customer.

I've just started this repaired that as been professionally frame, when I opened the back to put new glass in. I had a horrible surprise 😮 all photo been stuck down with masking tape and its even coming off.

The question is do I just put glass in or redo it for the customer for the price of the new glass?

Just taken an old sign down for the Pilates Studio thats opening up on York St "Next door but one" upstairs and the lady that runs it Charlotte got me this as a thankyou 😀 its nice to be nice.
