Our gallery hosts handmade and local artists and craftspeople from within 20 miles of Slaidburn. It is also the home to Lorikeet Studios where Karin Pinder creates her artwork and her cards, fine art prints and giftware.

We're putting a call out for local artisans to be a part of our small art and crafts gallery in Slaidburn, Lancashire.

Please get in contact and we can arrange a chat!

It would be lovely to hear from as many local artisans as possible to include in the gallery, either now or the near future.

The sun is shining in Slaidburn!

I'm busy in the studio today creating gift vouchers (which would make a lovely gift for someone special) and uploading more of our handmade items up onto the website.

If you're visiting our wonderful village today, be sure to pop in. I'm open until 3 pm.

BTW...Have you seen Forest Resin Studio's beautiful coasters? These are now available on our website - www.lorikeetstudiosandgallery.com/collections/forest-resin-studio-ben-johnson. Hand made in Slaidburn.

Based in Slaidburn, Ben creates handcrafted resin art and functional pieces inspired by local nature.

It's Hodder Valley Show today in Slaidburn!!!!

Please, please, please come along and enjoy this incredible family fun agricultural show...

Whilst you're here, also (please, please, please) be sure to visit the other wonderful venues within Slaidburn - Originals Art and Antiques (newly opened on Chapel Street), Slaidburn Central Stores & Post Office, us here at Lorikeet Studios and Gallery (opposite Slaidburn Central Stores) and the historic St Andrews Church.

It's the Hodder Valley Show on Saturday, 12th September in Slaidburn!

Be sure to grab your tickets on the website tonight or at the gate on the day. There's so much hard work that's involved in creating this brilliant event.

After or before going to the show (whichever you prefer), enjoy the rest of Slaidburn has to offer!

Take a walk to the brilliant Riverbank Tearooms (next to the carpark), then up to the wonderful Originals Art & Antiques on Chapel Street, then up to the incredible Slaidburn Central Stores & Post Office, before popping in to see us here at Lorikeet Studios and Gallery 🥰. Be sure to visit the historic St Andrew's Church before heading to the show or home!

We can't wait to see as many visitors to Slaidburn as possible...Looking forward to it 🥳.
