In this series, her muse becomes a pure presence: an organic, intimate, almost tactile black and white - like a return to the primal woman.
has photographed Cindy as the primal woman, possessing an organic power, in contact with rock, sea and earth. She often frames her shots from the model’s perspective, seeking to ‘attune herself to her sensations’ and to draw the viewer into her purest emotions. This approach, which places the photographer in the same plane as her subject rather than above her, speaks volumes about the trust between the two women.

Dans cette série, sa muse devient présence pure : un noir & blanc organique, intime, presque tactile - comme un retour à la femme originelle.
Frédérique Barraja a photographié Cindy en femme originelle à la puissance organique, au contact de la roche, de la mer, de la terre. Elle cadre souvent depuis le point de vue du modèle, cherchant à « se coller à ses sensations », et à amener le regardeur dans ses émotions les plus pures. Ce geste, qui place la photographe dans le prolongement de son sujet plutôt qu’en surplomb, dit quelque chose d’essentiel sur la confiance entre les deux femmes.
