Het YellowKorner-concept werd in 2006 gecreëerd door twee vrienden, die al sinds hun jeugd gepassioneerd zijn door fotografie. Hun ambitie is simpel: het aantal exemplaren van een kunstfoto verhogen om die toegankelijk te maken voor een zo groot mogelijk publiek. Het wil ruimte voor expressie bieden aan fotografen uit verschillende stromingen, met het behoud van hoge artistieke normen. Veelbeloven
de hedendaagse artiesten, maar ook grote namen (Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Dorothea Lange, Man Ray, Jean Dieuzaide, Bert Stern) en historische fotografen (de Japanse primitief Kimbei, Léon Gimpel). De exclusieve prints zijn van hoge kwaliteit en gedrukt in een gerenommeerd, professioneel labo, onder toezicht van de fotograaf. Ze zijn genummerd en voorzien van een echtheidscertificaat. De YellowKorner galerie is veel meer dan een expo- en verkoopruimte. Het is een echte culturele ontmoetingsplaats voor kunstenaars en hun publiek. Er worden vaak evenementen en vernissages georganiseerd, in aanwezigheid van fotografen en celebrity’s. YellowKorner geeft ook cursussen om het publiek te laten kennismaken met kunstfotografie.
